Plan the Search
We’ll confirm availability, review the search area and conditions, and let you know when we can be on site. The minimum fee is $300 for up to two hours of on-site search time.

Start the Search
We use thermal drone imaging to cover the area as efficiently as possible and help identify where your animal may be. If additional search time is recommended, we’ll ask for your approval before continuing.
When an animal goes missing, every minute matters. The longer it is out, the farther it may travel and the greater the risk from roads, weather, predators, and injury. Knowing where to look can mean the difference between a successful recovery and a lost animal.
Search Services
A thermal drone can cover ground in minutes that would take a search party hours on foot, and it can detect animals in low light, fields, brush, tall crops, and some wooded terrain where they may be difficult to see from the ground. Three Seasons Farm offers drone-assisted thermal searches for farmers, livestock owners, and pet owners in the Waynesboro–Augusta County area and surrounding communities.
We search for missing cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, and other animals, including cows and calves that have wandered off, scattered livestock, and animals separated from their herd.
Search Fees
We charge a $300 minimum service fee, which includes up to two hours of on-site search work.
Additional search time is $100 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments. We will ask for your approval before continuing beyond the initial two hours.
Our fees are for the search service and are not contingent on finding the animal. The minimum service fee applies once the on-site search begins, whether the animal is located quickly, is found later by another means, or is not found.
Travel within 25 road miles of Three Seasons Farm (@ 1 Solutions Way, Waynesboro, VA) is included. Beyond 25 miles, travel is charged at $1 per mile each way.
Our service is focused on search and location. Animal capture, handling, transport, veterinary care, and other recovery services are not included.
